Construction Details

Ventilated cage upper: The grey synthetic outer shell has large cutouts along the midfoot, backed by a thin mesh underlay. This design allows air to circulate directly over the foot and lets water escape instantly, preventing your feet from getting waterlogged.
Bungee speed-lacing: To prevent laces from snagging on trail brush, this sandal uses an elastic bungee cord. Pull the plastic toggle to tighten the shoe around your foot, then tuck the excess cord underneath the webbing.
Protective toe bumper: The beige rubber outsole wraps up and over the front of the toes. This closed-toe design protects you from stubbing your toes on hidden roots or loose rocks, offering the safety of a boot with the lightness of a sandal.
Molded EVA footbed: The interior footbed is contoured to match the natural shape of the foot, featuring built-in arch support and a slight heel cup. This keeps your foot from sliding sideways when navigating steep, sloped ground.
Deep-lug outsole: The bottom tread features 5 mm deep rubber lugs. The wide spacing between the lugs ensures that mud and small pebbles are shed out of the tread as you walk, rather than caking up the sole and reducing grip.

Hiking sandals run true to size. If you plan to wear them barefoot during water activities, your standard size is perfect. If you prefer to wear them with thick wool hiking socks, consider going up half a size.

Care Instructions

These sandals are designed to get wet. Rinse them off with a garden hose or in a sink after a muddy hike.
For stubborn dirt, scrub the synthetic upper and rubber sole with an old toothbrush and mild dish soap.
Do not machine wash or put them in the dryer. The high heat can deform the molded EVA footbed and weaken the internal adhesives.
To prevent odors from sweat and river water, let the sandals air dry completely in a well-ventilated area before storing them.
