Construction Details

• Polka dot canvas: The dots are screen-printed onto 10 oz cotton canvas before cutting. The print sits on top of the weave, so the texture of the canvas is still visible up close. The green base is a muted forest shade — closer to olive than neon.
• Rubber toe cap: A smooth white rubber bumper wraps over the first 3 cm of the toe box. It's bonded during the vulcanization process, not glued on separately, so it won't peel at the edges.
• Foxing tape: A textured rubber strip runs the full perimeter where the upper meets the sole. The surface has a fine diamond-knurl texture that adds grip if you're kneeling or scuffing the sides. It also seals the upper-to-sole joint against water splashes.
• Blank tongue and heel patches: Both the tongue label and the heel patch are left intentionally blank — no logos, no text. The patches are sewn in white canvas and sit flush against the green body.
• 8-eyelet lacing: Standard flat cotton laces through stamped brass eyelets. The high-top collar reaches about 2 cm above the ankle bone. No padding in the collar — the canvas folds and creases naturally with wear.
• Geometric outsole: The bottom tread uses a repeating grid of small raised squares instead of the typical herringbone. Grips well on dry pavement and indoor floors. Not intended for wet or muddy surfaces.

Care Instructions

• Remove laces before cleaning. Laces can be soaked separately in warm soapy water.
• Spot clean the canvas with a soft brush and a mix of cold water + mild laundry detergent. Work in small circles to avoid spreading stains.
• Machine washable on a gentle/delicate cycle with cold water. Place shoes inside a pillowcase or mesh laundry bag. Air dry only — do not put in the dryer.
• To brighten the white rubber sole, rub with a magic eraser sponge or a paste of baking soda and white vinegar. Rinse with a damp cloth.
