Construction Details

• Backless mule cut: The heel collar is cut down flat to the sole line, wrapped with a rolled canvas binding to prevent fraying. Your heel sits entirely exposed, making this a true slip-on shoe.
• 10 oz mustard canvas: A medium-weight canvas that holds its shape across the vamp without feeling stiff. The mustard yellow dye has a warm, earthy tone that pairs well with raw denim or olive fatigues.
• Off-white toe cap: A textured rubber bumper covers the front of the shoe, matching the color of the vulcanized midsole. The rubber is chemically bonded to the canvas to resist peeling if you stub your toe.
• "Discover You" tongue label: A woven fabric tag is stitched to the tongue, reading "Discover You" in contrast lettering. It sits subtly under the laces.
• Metallic eyelets & laces: Four pairs of stamped metal grommets route the flat yellow cotton laces. While you can slip these on hands-free, tightening the laces does adjust the volume over the top of your foot to prevent the mule from flying off when you walk.
• Vulcanized traction: The off-white rubber outsole features a wave-pattern tread designed for flat urban surfaces. Because it's a mule, the sole is engineered to flex easily under the ball of the foot so the shoe moves with you.

Size Guide

Backless mules run slightly wide to allow the foot to slide in easily. We recommend ordering your true size. If you have a very narrow foot, sizing down a half size will prevent the shoe from slipping off.

Care Instructions

• Since you wear these backless, the canvas footbed can absorb sweat and oils quickly. Sprinkle baking soda inside the shoe overnight once a month to neutralize odors, then shake it out in the morning.
• Spot clean the mustard canvas with a soft brush and cold water mixed with a drop of clear dish soap. Avoid harsh scrubbing, which can fade the yellow dye.
• Machine washable on a cold, delicate cycle. Remove laces and place the shoes in a mesh laundry bag. Air dry in the shade to prevent the mustard color from sun-bleaching.
• Use a magic eraser sponge to quickly remove scuffs from the off-white rubber toe cap and midsole.
