Construction Details

Embossed synthetic leather: The thick PU leather upper is stamped with subtle geometric patterns across the side panels. This embossing adds visual texture to the off-white surface without using different colored fabrics. The material is rigid and highly water-resistant.
Oversized EVA platform: The core of the shoe is a massive block of injection-molded EVA foam. It raises the heel by over 3.5 cm. Despite its bulky appearance, the foam keeps the total weight down to 370 grams, preventing the shoe from feeling like a heavy boot.
Mesh tongue and collar: To balance the heat trapped by the non-porous synthetic leather, the entire tongue and the lining around the ankle are made from a highly breathable open-weave mesh, allowing sweat to evaporate upward.
High-flex outsole grooves: Thick platform soles are notoriously stiff, which can cause heel slippage. To counteract this, deep horizontal channels (flex grooves) are cut into the rubber outsole under the ball of the foot, allowing the thick sole to bend when you step.
Patterned heel tab: The rear of the shoe features a reinforced synthetic heel tab printed with a subtle light blue geometric pattern, providing a specific focal point on an otherwise monochromatic upper.

These chunky sneakers run true to size but have a stiff, structured fit. The synthetic leather will not stretch over time. If you have a wide forefoot or high instep, we strongly recommend ordering half a size up.

Care Instructions

Wipe the off-white synthetic leather panels clean with a damp microfiber cloth. The embossed texture can trap dust, so use a soft-bristle brush (like an old toothbrush) to gently scrub the recessed patterns if necessary.
Use a magic eraser sponge lightly dampened with water to scrub dark scuffs off the oversized EVA foam midsole.
Do not machine wash or tumble dry. Soaking the shoe will trap water inside the thick foam collar and may cause the internal sole adhesives to fail.
If the interior mesh lining begins to smell, remove the insoles and spray them with a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar, then let them air dry outside the shoe.
